Abstract We study the $E_2$ -algebra $\Lambda \mathfrak {M}_{*,1}:= \coprod _{g\geqslant 0}\Lambda {M}_{g,1}$ consisting of free loop spaces moduli Riemann surfaces with one parametrised boundary component, and compute homotopy type group completion $\Omega B\Lambda {M}_{*,1}$ : it is product ^{\infty }\mathbf {MTSO}(2)$ a certain }$ -space depending on family all boundary-irreducible mapping classes in class groups $\Gamma _{g,n}$ $g\geqslant 0$ $n\geqslant 1$ .

Moduli spaces of surfaces and real structures
We give infinite series of groups Γ and of compact complex surfaces of general type S with fundamental group Γ such that 1) any surface S′ with the same Euler number as S, and fundamental group Γ, is diffeomorphic to S 2) the moduli space of S consists of exactly two connected components, exchanged by complex conjugation. Whence, i) on the one hand we give simple counter-examples to the DEF = D...
متن کاملK3 surfaces: moduli spaces and Hilbert schemes
LetX be an algebraicK3 surface. Fix an ample divisorH onX ,L ∈ Pic(X) and c2 ∈ Z. Let MH(r;L, c2) be the moduli space of rank r, H-stable vector bundles E over X with det(E) = L and c2(E) = c2. The goal of this paper is to determine invariants (r; c1, c2) for which MH(r;L, c2) is birational to some Hilbert scheme Hilb(X).
متن کاملBeauville Surfaces, Moduli Spaces and Finite Groups
In this paper we give the asymptotic growth of the number of connected components of the moduli space of surfaces of general type corresponding to certain families of Beauville surfaces with group either PSL(2, p), or an alternating group, or a symmetric group or an abelian group. We moreover extend these results to regular surfaces isogenous to a higher product of curves.

At the Seattle conference, I presented a calculation of H,(F;Zp) as an algebra, for odd primes p, where F = lim F(n) and F(n) is the topological monoid > of homotopy equivalences of an n-sphere. This computation was meant as a preliminary step towards the computation of H*(BF;Zp). Since then, I have calculated H*(BF;Zp), for all primes p, as a Hopf algebra over the Steenrod and Dyer-Lashof alge...
متن کاملInfinite Grassmannians and Moduli Spaces of G–bundles
Introduction. These are notes for my eight lectures given at the C.I.M.E. session on “Vector bundles on curves. New directions” held at Cetraro (Italy) in June 1995. The work presented here was done in collaboration with M.S. Narasimhan and A. Ramanathan and appeared in [KNR]. These notes differ from [KNR] in that we have added three appendices (A)-(C) containing basic definitions and results (...
